It was okay. Moderate food. Nothing special
Great drinks!. Food average for a chinese food place, but the drinks rock. One will do ya 🙂
Don’t waste your time, money or appetite.. The venue is a long ago resurrected A&W drive-in. Its interior is modest and unremarkable.A pleasant young woman seated us in a booth large enough to accommodate the Beavers defensive line.A quick look at the menu ascertained that we were in a straight-down-the-middle-of-the-road Americanized Chinese eatery. The prices indicated great pride in their fare.I ordered Curry Shrimp ($10.75 I think) and SWMBO selected their House Special Fried Rice. ($8.95 I think)The Hot & Sour Soup was very good and I hoped portended some good food. Sadly such was not the case. Carol thought her Fried Rice was a weak 4 on a scale of 1 to 10. I cant rate my Curry Shrimp nearly that highly. What I got was a platter full of Green Bell Peppers with a few pieces of Onion and 8 or 10 medium to small Shrimp doused in the least zippy, bland Curry Sauce imaginable. (No Water Chestnuts, no Broccoli and no Carrots.) My Steamed Rice was dry, clumpy and had been scorched in whatever keep-it-warm container they used since its not-very-recent cooking.Any Chinese restaurant in Salem/Keizer, but one, is better by far and all but a couple are also cheaper. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this place.
Average. It was okay. I liked the fact you could buy bags of homemade fortune cookies for just two dollars. The fried rice could have had bigger chunks, and the fried chicken and pork need more meet and less batter…
Good food and lots of it. Fast service whether dine in or take out. Egg rolls are perfect; crispy and full of flavor. House special lo mein is a favorite.
You get a lot of food for the price. It’s a large, quick, and tasty meal that you can take home to eat the next day.
