Nice Atmosphere, Great Food. We went to Pinehurst Inn (beautiful old log building built in 1920) for their Thanksgiving Dinner. Fabulous family style traditional Thanksgiving meal at a very reasonable price, and a very generous pour of good wine for $5 (beer, cider and other drinks also available). We have gone to other good local restaurants for their special Thanksgiving dinners in the past, but this one is tops. Well worth the 45 minute drive up and down the twisty mountain road (OR 66) from Ashland.
Thoughts from the grey matter. On the night we stayed at the Pinehurst Inn, June 20, 2012, my wife and I opted to dine at the Inn. My wife had Parmesean Chicken and I enjoyed the Mediterranean Chicken. These were delicious meals prepared by Denise. Her passion really comes through in the meals she prepares and Donnie serves. The one item that really knocked off my socks was the little English muffin loaves. What a tasty creation they were. I think I could have eaten a dozen of them. As we were traveling, we were not able to enjoy multiple dinners at the Pinehurst Inn, therefore, I am not able to comment on more than one meal. But I have no intention of this being my only meal at the Pinehurst Inn, so stand-by for further reviews of the eatin’s.
Wonderful experience. My husband said it was the best prime rib ever! The food was just fantastic, the atmosphere was so nice. Just a great dining experience. Can’t wait to go again. It is definitely a great place to dine. Absolutley no complaints. It is in the mountains with a view, well worth the drive.
Awesome place! The food is the best. The menu is small with weekly specials. The service is also fantastic. Don’t forget that the Pinehurst Inn is also a bed and breakfast.
