myfamily and I have been ordering food from chen’s for years. The food is always excellent and the service is always good.we moved out of Keizer a year ago and still order from chen’s except now instead of delivery we go and pick up.
uncle chen is rolling in his grave. The food is terrible and just keeps getting worse. We has eaten here for 20 years and saw a decline with the new ownership which they have accelerated recently. I barely recognize the recipes, all the spices are water downed and the ingredients cheapened. We ordered today to give it one more chance and it was the worse ever we should have stayed local. What I had today was obviously cooked last night and wasn’t even close to the original Chens food the next day. It’s a shame the family put on a good show and now its worth than Safeway take out 3 days old. I wish the family still owned it. 1 star is too much and the best advice I can give you is run. I know the owner and he does not care what you think or if you come back run.
