My husband and I were given a groupon gift certificate and on our way home from WA, after checking out ILANI casino, I decided to stop by Delaney Madison. An amazing experience of awesome food, friendly courteous service and relaxing views of activity on the lake. The dinner for two offer expired on June 23 but the purchase price of the groupon, was still in effect and that is what we expected to use. The gracious owner honored the original offer and we were very appreciative. The Kobi beef appetizer was to die for. The dressing on the salad was so tasty. Usually the basimic vinegar overwhelms the other flavors and is to acidic for me. This was not the case at Delaney Madison. The husband had the Chicken Marsala and he’s still raving about it today. I had the Prawns Linquini. Heaven on earth. The husband had the cheesecake and I enjoyed the sorbet. All in all, an amazing end of a very disappointing day. THANK YOU ALL, SOOO MUCH!!!!! The whole restaurant was beautifully appointed and the view of the lake was sooo relaxing.

Best meatloaf. 2 of us went in 2/24/15 for lunch about 12:30 p.m. They had a large group in the other room, yet we were still served promptly. My meatloaf was the best I’ve had at a restaurant since I was a child. it was very moist, tender, and had a great taste. The lunch prices are reasonable & dinner prices are a little higher. Service has been quick and extremely polite. the food overall has been very good.

Pleasantly Surprised. I have to admit that I was somewhat skeptical about Delaney Madison Grill given the online reviews I had read. This is a perfect example of doing your homework but making your own decisions based on your own experience. Three friends and I dined at Delaney Madison Grill last night and had a really nice experience. The service was excellent, the restaurant is clean (if not somewhat stark in decor) and the food was delicious. Everyone in my party was pleased with their meal and all agreed they would return and would happily re-order the same items. I was pleasantly surprised by the announcement of a new menu when we were seated (the US menu is no longer current).I had the Halibut Au Gratin. I was somewhat surprised in its presentation – it was covered in a delicious cream sauce and topped with bread crumbs. But it was truly delicious. I’m a picky fish eater and this was superb. It was beautifully cooked and quite flavorful. The accompanying vegetables (asparagus and carrots) were remarkable. Everyone commented favorably on the grilled carrots. I opted to upgrade my salad to the Beet & Goat Cheese Salad for an additional $6.00. The goat cheese was breaded and fried and was so melt-in-your-mouth yummy! And the thinly sliced beet was quite nice. I’m not sure the $6 upgrade price was justified, but I have no regrets as it was quite good. Our server was quite exuberant and attentive, but not overly so. She kept our water glasses full and restocked our bread without having to ask.The only negative to the evening were the acoustics. They’re pretty awful. It was a busy night with lots of conversations and we could barely hear each other. We were seated in the middle of the dining room which may have contributed to this. But it was really difficult to hold a conversation. The server actually apologized to us and said they were working on it. I hope so. It was the only downside to an otherwise really nice experience.Give Delaney Madison Grill a try and judge for yourself. I think you’ll like it. I did.

Won’t Be In Business Long. We stopped by to have lunch anxious to see what this revamped restaurant might have in store. We were one of only two couples in the entire restaurant. Despite that, service was terrible. Never were we asked how our food was. Empty glasses remained unfilled and our waitress seemed preoccupied with a friend at the bar. The food was pretentious, over priced and poorly prepared. Servings were small and, well, tasteless. Like something one would run across from a food truck at a construction site. We’re looking forward to the next restaurant that might make a stab at making this great location work.
