Chinese Nirvana. Don’t be fooled by exterior, in a little strip mall. Food excellent veggies very fresh and cooked perfectly. I got the green bean chicken dinner w rice and soup. It was a meal for two. Chicken tender and spicy to the exact degree I ordered. We also ordered the chicken sub gum ( almond chicken ) sweet sour riblets, pork fried rice & soup combo. Those two meal could easily feed a family of four. Servers friendly and helpful. The food came to our table steaming hot. Pot of tea included. With generous tip $20. We will return.
Crab puffs are well worth it!!!!
Cheap and wonderful. This has been comfort food for me since I was like 12. Johns will easily feed my dad, sister, and me, with tons of leftovers for about $15 and the food is amazing. The cashew chicken is my favorite. And the pork fried rice is perfectly flavorful and full of egg, meat, and veggies. The service is always prompt and smiley. Whenever I am in Keizer, this is one place I have to hit, especially if I am looking to eat wholesome food for really cheap.
Chow mein I like. For some reason, its the only restaurant that I like the way they cook their chow mein pork or chicken, when I go Keizer and had to eat, I usually stop here, good food, good service! always come back
Always great.. John’s is such a great, reliable Chinese restaurant. In fact it is my favorite Chinese restaurant that I have found. The chicken is all white mean, no gross brown meat, and the vegetables are always so fresh and perfectly cooked.
It has a drive-up window!!!. As many others have reported, John’s has great food at reasonable prices. However, what I also find appealing is the fact they have a drive-up window for takeout orders! Same great food as you get inside, just boxed up, ready for you to take home and eat Just one request: Please take home a paper menu and call in the order. It usually takes 15 minutes to prepare, so by the time you’ve driven there, it is ready for you. That is, unless there’s a newbie in front of you, wait for their order to be prepared.
