Wonderful. It was a great experience. I don’t understand some of the other posts but I suppose everyone has their own opinion. The staff was excellent and the owner was a sweet as can be. My experience was very good and too bad others like to post negative almost nasty comments about a new business making a go of it. At least it’s not a franchise or a big corporate place.
Never again. Vary poor customer service my wife and i went with are 2 little girls to go try something new and when we got there we weren’t greated and there were 3 employees at the burger assembly area just standing around putting on lotion and talking over the hole store the hole time my family were there to the other side were a couple other employees were sitting. we definitely will not be going back again
A SHINING STAR IN KEIZER. A little over a year ago, a new place opened up in Keizer. Many people were excited to find out the menu and the type of food offered.. As a retired critic for various food establishments, I was impressed with the simple menu concept and the fresh items that make up the burger and fries,It has often been sad and stated that a restaurant with more than a dozen items on the menu has little chance of being good. In Nancys’ Case she has excelled in providing a wonderful burger with home made fries that makes her place such a draw.. The wonderful choice of toppings and added items along with a yummy fry sauce will make your burger that much more special. The fries are great, being so fresh and just like fries should be,,no frozen product here. The staff is friendly, and they know their jobs well and the place is spotless and a refreshing place to bring your date,that special someone and your whole family.,Nancy is a delightful Leader in a business that at times can be hard and cruel by people that have little food knowledge.. May she have a wonderful 2014, and yes ,she is a Shining Star, we are lucky to have her here in Keizer…Good Luck Nancy, we love you.,and most of , we care. as you do.. Thank You..,
Blatant Rip Off. My husband and I stopped this evening to check out the new burger joint in West Salem, we were shocked when we walked into Nancy’s Burgers and found that we were in five guys!! We decided to give them a shot since we are local even know the blatant copyright was hitting us in the face! We ordered are food and sat down for a 45 minute wait for a soggy burger and cold fries! We enjoy going to five guys to get a great burger and great customer service but we only make it there once in awhile if we’re on that side of town. West Salem really could have used a descent burger joint, to bad five guys didn’t open here because Nancy’s is no five guys!! My opinion; this should be illegal and five guys should do something about it!
A good decent burger. Decided to give Nancy’s a try despite some of negative reviews on here. The menu is very similar to Five Guys but does offer a couple of items not on Five Guy’s menu. In addition to burgers and hot dogs, Nancy’s serves salads and onion rings which are not found on the other guys menus. My wife and two daughters joined me for lunch on this visit. We all had burgers of some form or another. I had the Big Bacon Cheeseburger which consisted of two large patties, at least three or four strips of bacon, and my choice of cheese (I choose cheddar). The burger was juicy without being overly greasy and overall had a good flavor. We split an medium order of fries which turned out to be plenty to share. The fries seemed to be a bit crispier than the competition which I prefer and the option of fry sauce was a nice touch. I noticed they are opening a West Salem location on Edgewater in the old Quiznos location. Look forward to paying them another visit and trying the onion rings. Oh, and there are no peanuts, which is fine as I tend to fill up on those before the meal.

We had eaten here several times previously without much incident. However the last time will be just that- the last time. I had the misfortune of dealing with the owner, Nancy. Her staff has always been polite and friendly. She, however, is not. There is not one iota of customer service in her blood. If the customer is always wrong (and after reviewing other reviews on Yelp, it appears she really feels this way) she will then go out of business. I will be going out of my way to insure that this establishment receives none of my money.
