My boyfriend and I have gone to the keizer outback a few times since it opened. I have to say it is always disappointing. They have screwed up my steak a few times, so my boyfriend had to eat his food while they had to cook me a second steak. This past Sunday we thought we would try a different time of day. 4 in the afternoon. We sat in the bar as the hostess told us to just find a seat. We sat there for 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. While 4 staff members sat at a table laughing and other staff kept poking their heads out of a room in the corner. The bread was hard and my lobster was under cooked. I didn’t get my drink until the meal was served. Our waitress was trying but we never saw a manager. Will never recommend this place.
Consistently disappointing. Not bad mind you but nothing above average other than the salad which I do think is very good..I’m pretty simple when it comes to a steak. It should be cooked with some flame involved, no more than medium rare and somewhat less chewy than a size 14 flip flop. They got one of three perfectly. There was flame involved. Missed the other two both visits. Think I’m done here, there are better choices in Salem for the same of less $$$.
Clueless. Worst service and brought my steak out raw, bead was old. I will never go back.
Nice place. Went here about a week ago for a late lunch during shopping at the Station.This restaurant has very tasteful dcor. Really nice atmosphere.Our server was very nice and our food was good. KInda spendy for lunch but I had a few coins in the pocket this week!I didn’t like the game consol things at the table my 11 year old went for it..and guess what they cost every time you play.KInda trashy dive bar stuff and lets down the good dcor.

What Happened to Outback?. The prices have remained above average, the food quality well below average. After a disappointing dinner where I ordered their best steak which was over cooked, dry, tough and lacking flavor we gave them another chance for lunch. My wife’s food was o.k. once we picked the tomato with rot off the top of the salad. The hamburger that I ordered was cooked to death and bland with thick chunks of lettuce crammed between the buns and was $11.00. How tough is it to prepare a hamburger and a salad with a little care and effort? This was like having lunch at some low grade all you can eat cafeteria.
Excellent food and service. Came here for lunch today with my mother. We got the free Bloomin Onion because their Nascar driver placed in the top 10 on Sunday. Then we had a $5 off 2 lunch entree’s coupon. Since we had the Bloomin Onion we didn’t want fries and requested Salads instead which according to the menu was an extra $3.50 (ouch!). However the waitress said it was ok to switch them out for us for free.Our food was excellent, hot and fresh. Our server Tiffany was top notch even though she showed signs of being new at the job. She tried her best and was doing her best to accommodate us. I expect she will only get better every time!My mother and I both tried the Chicken Sandwich (don’t remember the name) off the lunch menu. It was excellent.Oh and they do NOT have free Wi-Fi. It showed up on my phone but the network guys didn’t disable the guest network so it shows it being available even though its not.
