Super Price Increases – No Takeout Menues. I ordered the combination appetizer dish for takeout. The online menu said it was $10 but when I got there to pick it up it was $14.50. I understand prices sometimes increase, but 45%?? Also, they do not have a takeout menu. I guess that is because they just charge whatever they want without a menu to stick to. I won’t be going there again. The food was not that great, either. I much prefer the Thai Lotus in Keizer.

I LOVE IT!. My daughter and I love to go there for their lunch special. Great prices, exceptional service, and personal customer service. They just remodeled and I love it!

The Best Thai Food. As lovers of Thai food, we’ve been to all of the Thai restaurants in the Salem / Keizer area, and Sweet Home Thai Cuisine is the best. I highly recommend Sweet Home Thai Cuisine.

Delectable!. I decided to try Sweet Home Thai tonight after doing some shopping. I’m so glad I did! It’s homey, yet nice. A pleasant atmosphere with cloth napkins providing a touch of class.I tried the Ginger Delight with chicken and tofu (see picture). I opted for the brown rice and a cup of hot tea. Everything was delicious. This flavorful dish was so light yet full of subtle intricacies. The ginger was most pronounced but not overwhelmingly so. Everything was cooked perfectly with tender crisp vegetables. The server recommended one of two sauces on the table to add some zip to the Ginger Delight. She said it went really well with the dish. And boy was she right!I’m so glad I stopped by here tonight. I will most definitely be back.

Amazing!. I have lived in Keizer for 15 years and had never tried Sweet Home Thai Cuisine until yesterday. The house and decor always made me nervous but yesterday we decided to give it a try. It is hands down my new favorite restaurant in Keizer, not just for Thai food – for any kind of food! The service was great and the food was even better. Don’t wait 15 years like I did!I had the Chicken Pad Thai and my husband had the Red Curry with Chicken. Both were amazing.

New ownership, management and menu!. This location housed Salem/Keizer’s first Thai restaurant for many years. As others came to town the old place just sort of sank into the earth in terms of food, service and general maintenance. Then, finally, just died of natural causes. Then came Sweet Home Thai Cuisine. It’s still an old converted house but it now seems fresher, cleaner and more appealing somehow. I see no evidence of a major remodel so maybe it’s just undergone a sprucing up.My server, Gift (who, by the way, was just as delightful as her name), seated me, gave me a lunch menu and Water. I stuck with my customary go-to dish, when trying a new Thai place, Seafood Phad Thai. ($9.50) Gift started me off with a cup of delicious Tom Kha Gai, that sweet, spicy (not hot spicy) Soup made with Coconut Milk. Nice touch. My Phad Thai was piping hot and very good. It had Shrimp, Mussels, Scallops and Squid amid the thin Rice Noodles and Egg and was surrounded by Bean Spouts, Red Cabbage and Carrots. The Sauce was tangy and I doctored it with a little Chili Sauce to give it some extra fire. Gift also provided a dainty China cup of House Tea. I’m not a big Tea guy. I mostly drink it when having Chinese food. This Tea was special. Very aromatic and sweetly spicy. I asked about it and she said they blend it in-house. When you come here, don’t miss a cup of this. It was a good lunch. I won’t say it was better than similar dishes at Red Ginger or Thai Lotus, but it was close.I recommend Sweet Home Thai Cuisine. And tell ’em Chuck sent you!Note: I’m not sure if the new owners installed it or if they inherited it from the previous operators of this reincarnated domicile, but someone went to considerable trouble to make this place accessible to those who are confined to wheelchairs.
