This is a non profit, community serving enterprise not just a restaurant. Whenever I find myself in Kenton I drop in and get some soul food. Usually not busy when I go and the food is tasty. I like the greens they serve, they remind me of the family home place in Pensacola. Catfish is my fav. thing here and I do take out for lunch most often. If you’re in a hurry go to Popeyes and get fast food. Southern food is an attitude more than anything. Relax and enjoy the place.
Truly hated the food. Not even worth going into great detail. There was no one in the restaurant yet I had to wait on the waitress to see us. Then it took forever for our food to get served. And of course it came out lukewarm. Just a terrible excuse for soul food.
