  I’d have to give Katie’s a score of 4 out of 10. Staff was amazing but moving slow. Only a handful of people in the place, and tool about 45 minutes to get breakfast. Grandparents complained about yhe coffee being cold right after they got it. When food finally came, my gravy tasted like it was made with the (very burnt) grease from bacon. When I tasted the bacon, I was correct. Won’t be coming for breakfast again. Maybe a drink after work. But Bo more food. In the plus side, huge orders for great prices, and the one waitress there was was simply a doll.

  Simple Man’s Breakfast. How can you go wrong with a breakfast of 3 Eggs (any style), Hashbrowns and 2 slices of Toast for $3.25? The answer at Katie’s O’Briens is: You can’t. No, the Eggs that they use probably do not come from free range chickens. The Potatoes are probably not organically grown in patches of recycled seaweed that are irrigated with purified rainforest water. And that is fine. I’m finding there is certainly a plethora of places around here like that, if that is your thing. Personally I’m not interested in paying $8 for Biscuits and Gravy (the tasty ones at Katie O’Briens are $2.50) What I do like is simple, hearty food for a reasonable price and that is exactly what they served me.
