Love this place. Like a good neighbor…they’re just consistently there with the good eats and nice staff. Seems like I usually eat the fish grill which fulfills me. The meatballs are a fave, too.
Consistently delicious. La Buca has a cozy and unpretentious taverna feel, along with the consistenly delicious and affordable dishes and consistently attentive service. I have enjoyed every meal I’ve eaten here for years and years–usually their salad and seafood specials. A great place to dine before taking in a flick across the street.
Simple, accessible, yum. This is an unfussy place on 28th, pretty simple and straightforward, but very consistently good. I love the spicy sausage spaghetti. very good
Friendly prices and ambience. The few times we passed La Buca, I dismissed it as too expensive. From the outside, it just looked too nice for a quick bite before a movie at the Laurelhurst.Boy, was I wrong.The prices are reasonable (you can find good-sized entrees for $10 or $11). The interior is as nice as I thought, though. High ceilings, room between tables to walk, lots of light from the big windows. I like the pasta with salmon. The wine in the glass drinking glasses are fine with me, too.
