This was a wonderful venue for my daughter’s engagement party last week. 70 guests fit perfectly and loved the atmosphere.Eugene Bingham, the owner and caterer was wonderful to work with. The menu was great. Guests loved the sliders, sweet potato fries and Thai salad rolls. All the food was good.We had a no host bar and my only complaint was that the service here could have been faster.The guests were happy with the food and the place.
This place is delicious. It has a great atmosphere, and is tucked away off burnside so parking is surprisingly good for the area. Eugene worked with me to create a special menu for my friends bachelorette party. He was very accommodating, and the food was amazing! I highly recommend this place.
This venue is beautiful and had excellent food, drinks, and service. All of our attendees were very pleased. I would highly recommend it for your party or event!
Great space for a private party!. On very short notice, Eugene was able to host a surprise birthday party for me on a Sunday afternoon in the Jade Lounge. It’s a great spot for something like that, up to a couple dozen people . There’s a small PA so we were able to have some live music, and he cooked up a delicious buffet (and amazing Apple Strudel for dessert!) Some with meat and some vegan & gluten free. It was really convenient that he had some prepared menu options to choose from. Really nice vibe in that room – thanks!
Amazing service and food. Went here for prom dinner with a couple of friends. The service was amazing, or waiter was awesome, and we got a delicious bowl of kale chips on the house. I have a lot of food allergies and restrictions and they were totally willing to work with it. The restaurant itself was very nice inside, modern, but cozy, and very friendly. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for somewhere to go in the Portland area. Five stars from me!
Great Event at The Slide Inn. We were looking for a new place to have an annual event for the University of Wisconsin Alumni Association Portland Chapter. Luckily, The Slide Inn was available for the date we had scheduled our event for. Eugene was extremely supportive of our organization being flexible on setup and menu and totally easy to work with and had a great attitude (as did his entire staff). The evening went off without a hitch. The food was delicious and the service was great. We definitely kept the kitchen on their toes, keeping our buffet full, as we had lots of hungry guests but everyone had a great time. We will definitely look to Slide Inn for our event again next year.
Great Place for an Event!. I had my mother’s Celebration of Life get-together at The Slide Inn and had a very nice event with 55 people attending. The venue was perfect and the owner, Eugene, was so terrific to work with and so easy-going about everything. He removed some tables replacing them with low lounge tables for a comfortable feel which made it easy for people to sit and mingle. The platters we ordered were delicious and just the right amount and it was easy for people to get their own drinks. We used a wall to project a slide show which worked really well. And after the event, he opened up the next door, Jade Lounge, for some of us to have dinner while he had another event going on in the restaurant portion. I learned about this establishment after my friend had a lovely wedding reception here on New Year’s Eve. I would highly recommend Eugene and his restaurant!
