There are better vegan bars in Portland.. The good: Most of the staff seems fine. I like the interior design. They generally have okay food and some good beers on tap.The bad: uncomfortable seating. The bathrooms are disgusting. The biggest deterrent to returning (at least during her shift) is one of the bartenders, a blonde with tattoos. We’ve been to the Bye and Bye a few times and we always end up being there while she is, unfortunately. She is at best cold, at worst outright rude. I can’t imagine how she’s been there so long if that’s how she treats people.The verdict: I’ll be back, but not too often, and I’ll try for when that bartender isn’t around.
