This place is very cool on the inside. Tons of cool hardwood, cozy fireplace and a livingroom like feel. It appears to be family friendly and the staff is friendly. We liked the pesto pizza and the ceaser salad.

Pesto Pizza. Not sure about all the long wait, service/server issues and baby drama that others are describing because my Pizza was brought directly to my workplace, as an unexpected surprise. And I was very happy to have it there. So I cant comment on any of that stuff. But I can discuss what I ate: the Pesto Pie.This puppy has whole Spinach and shriveled Sundried Tomatoes painted on a deck of Mozzarella and Pine Nuts. Lingering down below is their homemade Pesto Sauce and little temples of Feta Cheese. Doesnt that sound dazzling? Well, its more than just eye candy for the imagination. This was the best Pizza Ive had in Portland that didnt come from our friends over at Lonesome’s. Proportions were perfect, which is what made this sucker work. A single slice was enough to put me into a nice place where flavors linger and tell you stories about themselves. Gentlemen; my hat is off to you. drexlermcstyles.tumblr.com
Mediocre. My husband and I were there on a Friday night. It wasn’t very busy but we didn’t think anything of it as we walked up to order our meal.We enjoyed our salad and yummy bread knots with (cold) marinara while waiting for our thin crust margherita pizza. The pizza itself was not bad, but the tomatoes could have been riper and the large basil leaves were tough to bite through, so we kept pulling the toppings off each slice. All in all we were unimpressed and probably won’t be back.
Good pizza. Not extra ordinary, but good pizza. Quick service, Great little kitchen play area for Kids.
Not too good. Waited FORever for our meals. I ordered the chicken marinara. The pasta was overbooked and under seasoned. The resturant was very inviting, lots of open space and glass. The inviting atmosphere did not make up for the C minus meal.
Little bit ‘o Portland history, but the quality just isn’t what it used to be. Very long wait for very mediocre pizza. I would take a slice of pizzicato or hotlips over old town. Sorry folks!
