Black Bear Diner – Best Diner (Restaurant) in Klamath Falls, OR. My Disabled, Retired USAF Veteran and I eat at the Black Bear Diner several times a week. The food is ALWAYS excellent. The diner has a very homey feel to it. The entire staff is professional, neatly dressed, prompt and very personable. It is like a home away from home to us. The friendliness shown to us is beyond compare to other diners/restaurants. We are always welcomed with warmth and big smiles. The Black Bear Diner offers 10% off to military personnel and Veterans. All of the meals we have eaten there have been superb. My personal favorite is their Tri-Tip French Dip Sandwich. . .it is wonderful. None of that cold, roast beef flavor that is so gross. This is Tri-Tip Steak and they are extremely generous with the amount of steak. You can also add cheese, grilled onions and grilled mushrooms (makes it taste more like a Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich, only better).Highly recommend the Black Bear Diner to anyone who appreciates a good meal, whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner. Also, beware. . .they have the most delicious deserts ever made.The Black Bear Diner is under new management. It’s a wonderful place since the new managers have taken over. I hope those of you who did not like your experience there, return. You will be pleasantly surprised at the changes made.

Bad food and bad service. How this place has stayed open I have no idea. My pancakes were burnt, eggs not cooked enough, and she forgot the toast. And the waitress was too busy talking about VERY personal things with another employee too come back and check on us. We left without eatting or paying and will never go back.
Bad service and bad food. Three strikes and your out is how I rate Black Bear Diner of Klamath Falls.Not sure which is worse the service or the food. I will say this is the ONLY Black Bear Diner that is substandard and I do not know why Black Bear corporate doesnt come in and clean house.
Perfect place after coming from BRC. Cute old fashion food. they also have really good coffee for a diner.
Awesome!. I love this place! I wish I lived closer, or had one nearby to go to! The food is so good, and the decor is warm and inviting.
Service Makes a Difference. This place has such a great family atmosphere, it’s tough to be critical. The folks there really do seem to care…at times. On two occassions I’ve taken a party of 8 to have brunch. On the first trip it was almost 30 minutes before we had our drinks and almost an hour before we had our food. On the second trip the service was a bit worse with the timing. It got to the point we would get up and refill our own drinks. I will not be going back, which is unfortunate, because the food wasn’t bad…but by the time I ordered breakfast, it would be almost time for lunch.
