Good Milkshakes but thats it.. Three of us ordered the double brawny burger with fries and milkshakes. I will say the shakes were very good and the fries w/ fry sauce were not too bad for being the same thing you can buy in the frozen section at the supermarket. The mystery meat burgers on the other hand were flat out nasty.The burger patties at Burger King are of better quality and that does not say much. Paper thin tastless mystery meat is what they should have on there order board. For the high price they charge $8.00 they should be better quality.
Burger King is better… And that’s saying a lot. Overpriced for a thin, patty with no seasoning. Processed cheese on top and the fries could have easily been crinkle cut fries from the frozen section of a grocery store, they were also over salted and dry. I was thoroughly disappointed with the food their as it was so highly regarded with the locals. The only positive of the place is their shakes.

Do not believe the hype.. I gave Brawny Burger two tries at the insistence of local fans.Community members speak volumes about the restaurant, located on one of the city’s busy thoroughfares. Yet the food, service and atmosphere are mediocre at best. Burgers were flat and greasy, topped with processed cheese and nary a vegetable in sight. Serving staff wasn’t rude, but no one went out of their way to be friendly. The restaurant is decorated in a neo Americana style, recalling burger joints from the 1950s. In that regard, a welcome sight to any of the dozens of elderly and middle-aged couples who frequent David’s.Expect to pay typical burger-joint prices for fast food-quality sandwiches.
