We were hesitant to try Los Potrillos from the negative reviews but we were pleasantly delighted with the great food, friendly and fast service and reasonable prices.
The chips are not warm and the salsa is very watered down and flavorless. I ordered a pork chile verde burrito but I think they do not know what verde means because I do not see anything green in the sauce. They put rice and beans inside which I assume is to hide the lack of pork. This meal is disappointing. I unfortunately will not be back.

Like being home, except better!. My wife and I have eaten dinner at Los Potrillos every Thursday evening for over 10 years. The food and service has always been excellent. The owner’s host special parties several times a year and often invite their regular customers, food is plentiful and usually free. The owner’s go out of their way to make their customers comfortable and happy.
Stylishly festive atmosphere. Love their Borrega (lamb shank) Tender flavorful – wow!
Very friendly. Their food is very good! I would highly recommend their Tortilla soup! The BEST in town. It actually has chicken in it too. The staff is very nice, huge portions, kid friendly, and their salsa is outstanding!!
