A dumpy place with terrific food. It has a walkup counter and some tables. See photos. We had their $8 Kalua pig platter that came with a scoop of sticky white rice and your choice of macaroni salad or lettuce salad. The pork was incredibly moist and flavorful. Juicy, even. I had to pull the salad out of the meat side of the styrofoam box and put it in the lid side to get it out of the hot juice. No matter, five hours later I am still stuffed. They give you a big serving. I was glad I didn’t pay the extra dollar for a $9 box. Take your wife somewhere with a nice restroom before you go. She won’t want to use the one at North Shore. But to be clear, you MUST go there. The food easily overcomes all other drawbacks.
