The food was big but bland. The tv was cranked to mexican peoples court annoying. The waitress didnt understand english. The cashier was lazy and rude. Unfortunately. I tried it one other time and the chili releno had all seeds in it yuk. So this was their second chance. Sorry but I wont be back

My Go-To for Mexican. With authentic, double-wrapped, soft corn tortilla tacos and reasonably priced cold beer, this place is my personal standard for Mexican. Skip the bigger restaurants in town and head here.
Taco de Tripe!. In a corner caf location in the older downtown section of Main Street some good and authentic Mexican food can be found. It’s a little divey but has a certain charm. I’ll bet the venue was home to a coffee shop in the 1940’s or 50’s. I have had a number of Lebanon eateries on my wish list for some time and today seemed like the perfect sunny Saturday to check out a couple.I went with lighter orders than normal as I didn’t want to blow a gasket with my double stop.I seated myself at Taqueria Dos Arbolitos. (The name is a curiosity as no trees, little or otherwise, were in evidence.) My server, Marlena, brought me a menu, Water and Chips with Salsa and Pico de Galo. These are usually my downfall when going light is my golden intention. I was able to exercise some restraint. I ordered a Taco de Tripe (marinated and grilled Beef Lower Intestine) ala carte. The filling was loaded on double Tortillas (sadly, not hecho a mano) so fully, that it became a knife and fork proposition. Onion, Cilantro, and Salsa Verde were liberally applied. It was delicious and on a par with those found in several bodega back rooms in Salem.I plan to return with She Who Must Be Obeyed another day to give the menu a little more serious workout.
Great food cooked fresh.. Everything on the menu is great! And they cook it AFTER you order it!
