This is based on Burgerville in Lloyd District as it was my very first experience with this chain.I had heard locals go on and on about how amazing this place is. I was very excited to go. The line was long, so I thought even more highly of the place. The trash cans were overflowing, but I overlooked it as a sign of good food.I got the Tillamook Cheddar Burger. I thought they had onion rings here? None. We waited 20 minutes for the burger to come out. Building anticipation.I bit into my burger, all bread. Hmmmmmmmm, that’s weird. Another bite, more bread. The hamburger is so small and thin it is barely existent. Not happy.

Tried this place based on reviews as well as it being close to the hotel at which we were staying. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. I glanced at the menu and had to do a double take. The prices are high! 8 bucks for a combo meal and another 2+ bucks to upside it? Holy crap! Almost $4 for three onion rings? Gadzooks! Well decided to give it a go. The food came and we dug in. The burger was a bit on the small and plain side although it did taste good. The onion rings were huge and tasted very good. Fries were fewer than I would like for the amount of money we paid. Overall i consider this place a poor value. I really didn’t feel like I got good bang for my buck. For that reason we won’t be back.

Good choice!. My family and I arrived in Portlamd after a 7 hour trip from Texas…..dumped our bags at the hotel amd found this place right across the street…..Friendly staff, juicy burgers, gorgeous Walla Walla onion rings and my husband loved his strawberry milkshake. My son was happy with the booths and I was pleased that they recycle and compost….such a refreshing change! It was abit pricier than I was expecting, but worth it.

Good food, but serving sizes seemed small given the price. For local and sustainable, they should ditch the HFCS-laden sodas and go with a more natural choice like Boylan’s.

Burgers worth the price. I will admit, I am a Burger Snob. Every city I visit, I make it a mission to search out the burger joint. Enter Burgerville. 2 stops on the Max, and I’m there. I’m a sucker for Tillamook Cheddar. They have it on their burgers. It’s cooked the way I like. Good to go. Vanilla shake. I’m transported back to the ’50s. Nom. Nom. Nom.

Good espresso milkshake. We’ve not had their burgers, but the espresso milkshake was competitive with Tully’s.
