The value for portion size is hard to beat, though I would say my potsticker meal did seem to be prepared not fresh, probably heated. If you’re looking for value over taste, I definitely recommend Taste Tickler’s potsticker box. Should I go again, I’ll probably try some of their sandwiches instead.
I tried the Spicy Chicken combo. It’s a pretty large portion for $8 and change, and I was able to take about half home with me for later. This is definitely more of a takeout place, and a popular one at that, with customers ordering and picking up sandwiches and teriyaki almost constantly. That said, the staff seemed perfectly happy to have me dine in, and were friendly and cheerful while I dined. I really have no complaints about the food I recieved. The chicken had a nice bite and was cooked well. The gyoza had great taste and the accompanying salad and rice were as should be expected from a casual restaurant like this. I’d definitely come back to try a sandwich in the future!
Sub Cave. Not a bad place. Certainly better quality than what you’d get at a Subway or Quizno’s, and reasonably priced as well. Service was surprisingly pleasant and efficient. I had the Roast Beef Sub and my partner in crime had the Turkey. We will be back, the Teriyaki stuff sounds promising.. drexlermcstyles.tumblr.com
Best sandwhiches in town since 1970 it is a shame less people know about them. Friendly staff is an understatement and i could eat their chicken philly till i dropped dead. Bang for your buck!
Such great reviews I will give this place another shot. This was my first time here. I had the cheese steak. It was fairly salty and did not wow me with flavor. At first it tasted like hamburger helper beef stroganoff. From there it went down hill. The bread is a very good bread though. I have been recomended to try the bowls next time. Also, if your tall watchout whn you enter. Low entrance and cealings.
Love it!. I love Taste Tickler. I have never had a bad experience and i have been there several times. Every sandwich I bought was so full of meat and veggies that I always left full with some to take home. The people that work there have always been nice and very patient. I never knew what I wanted to order because there are so many options! It is definitely worth a try!
The service here was fine. Nothing spectacular. I got a Philly sub with mushrooms, onions and cheese. It was a good sandwich, but again, nothing to shout on the rooftops about. Good place to go for a quick sandwich fix and a bag of chips.
