I absolutely LOVE this place! Any other Thai restaurant I have been to just doesn’t compare. Service is super quick and reasonably priced menu. I’ve never had a meal here that wasn’t delicious.
The service was incredibly disappointing. Some reviews alluded to this vaguely, or falsely blame that the server/owner seems to be discriminate to larger people (not true). I’m here to tell you that it’s simply a lack of passion in the service, negligence of any real social skills actually. The woman is cold, doesn’t seem to care, and lacks the basic customer service skills. Water wasn’t topped off at all during service. Food was placed across the table and pushed a couple of inches (too lazy to show the gesture of walking an extra few feet to bring it to ME). She never smiled. To top a rather lousy experience, the food is overpriced, served on small plates making it hard to eat without making a mess, and misses the mark of authenticity in some cases. Not the worst food, just forgettable. Also, the booths are the most uncomfortable seating I’ve experienced in a restaurant: be ready to feel like a sardine if you brave a trip there. And just as a side note, the decor as well is a hodgepodge of things and is a disservice to this place. Take it from me if you’d like – I’ve been to countless Thai restaurants – it’s not worth your time or money to go to Ali’s.

Chicken satay is amazing and authentic; six skewers, rice, cucumber salad and peanut sauce. $8, so amazingly good
If you aren’t a thin woman, expect to be ignored and humiliated. Heavy men? Ok! I lost the weight but I’ll never step foot in there again!
Love the food, service not to be desired. Green curry is my fav!the servers have major attitudes, as if i should beg for food.i swore i would never go back, but….. i did recently and the service, far from good, was tolerable, so i am a fan once again.the food is fantastic so i guess it’s worth a little abusetry the squid/seafood curry, phenomenal
Used to be better. They changed owners or cooks a few months ago. Went from 4 stars to average. Presentation and variety of vegetable not as good. Service is quick food hot, priced right.
