Food at this location was on par with that of others in the chain, but I wasn’t entirely impressed with the service or plating of the food. It wasn’t bad, but there are certainly better places in Medford.
Very Unhappy service sucks. Very unhappy with everything. It was my daughters 19th birthday and they screwed everything up. It was 8:30 so there was hardly any people in the place. Both me and my daughter ordered burgers that had bacon on them. When we got them waitress says they ran out of bacon and they are cooking more and it would be about 10 min., we told her not to bother as we all had our food and didn’t want to wait for 2 of us to get bacon to put on our burgers. They even forgot the coleslaw for the fish and chips, we asked twice for the slaw and never got it. When we ask the waitress for a discount for the lack of items she said that she would talk to manager but doughted it, she was right. The worthless manager would’nt even talk to us, the waitress became the messenger. The reason for no discount was they offered to cook more bacon for us and we said no (takes 10 min to cook the bacon burgers would have been cold), and the cole slaw wasnt worth a discount. Never again will I step foot into this restraunt again, customer service is number 1 and we were’nt even in the top 100 list.
Way to cheat a customer!. Normally Applebees is a good place to eat. However this time it was awful. We were not offered water and had to wait 20 minutes for our first round of drinks. Our appetizers came after 30 minutes, without enough plates, and we had to request silverware and napkins, then they didn’t bring us enough for everyone in our party. In total we ended up sending back 4 drinks and 3 entres. The drinks were alcoholic in nature and top shelf liquor was requested. We received 3 long island iced teas that were obviously made from a mix and not top shelf alcohol. When we tried to return them, they tried to convince us it was top shelf even though we could tell it wasn’t. The fourth drink was a mudslide that didn’t have any alcohol at all. We ordered the riblet baskets and after an hour, when we finally received them, they were cold. Underheated pork can make customers very ill, yet this didn’t seem to phase the staff. Another in our party didn’t get the sides she ordered and another received rice that was hard and looked like it had been sitting out all day. I had to order a diet soda three times before they actually brought me one. The restaraunt wasn’t that busy and a party of eight should not be this difficult for an established restaurant to handle. We won’t be going back.
Food and service were good, but it had an old, musty smell, and the glasses were old and looked dirty. Seems like they need to remodel and get new dishes and stuff.
The salads are the only thing decent from here. The food simply lacks flavor.
