Really love this place named for their signature biscuits. I am currently stuck on the Farmhouse sandwich which comes on one of their ‘butterclouds’. Deelish! Nearly always busy but never too busy to get a seat.

Unique concept for a breakfast spot – it’s like the Victory Dogs of biscuits. You order at the counter and can enjoy a pot of French press while your meal is custom made. Servings are substantial and the combinations on the biscuits are a perfect marriage of savory, sweet, acidic – really well done.

Buttercloud is a sweet oasis in the midst of mediocre breakfast restaurants. My wife and I loved the menu options, the coffee, and the atmosphere. At 10am Tuesday morning every table was full at Buttercloud. My wife and I were able to snatch two seats at the bar facing the window. It was in this cozy corner that waited for our food that we had ordered at the counter moments before. My wife ordered the farmhouse breakfast sandwich (a delectable overeasy egg, thick cut bacon, basil aioli, and a fresh slice of tomato sandwiched in a split fluffy biscuit.) I ordered the Beef and Bleu Breakfast Sandwich (a pile of tender brisket, bleu cheese, and a bold tomato jam on one of the same fluffy biscuits)Both sandwiches were rich in flavor, fresh, and large enough that a fork and knife were needed. The Mayan Mocha was a heavily spicy mocha that was rich in sweet, chocolaty flavor with a spicy afterburn… I loved it!I wish we were staying another night in town so that we could enjoy another breakfast here.I suggest you give ’em a taste!
