Creatures at the Coffeehouse. Terrible discourteous service, dispassionate management, and strangely enough given its location people who don’t know how to handle kids. The coffee is expensive and better brews are to be had at the Quick market not two miles away. That’s no insult to the market by the way which actually does have good coffee. It’s just a little sad that the best coffee is at a quick market and that a coffee house is inept at coffee.Order just about anything with chocolate. Go on, I dare you. You’ll get a drink that’s 80% chocolate or 80% coffee. It’ll either be too sweet or too bitter. I’ve never encountered such inability to measure portions in cooking.About the only reason you’ll go to the creature coffee is if you enjoy being surrounded by screeching children who’ve had too much coffee and store clerks lethargic to do anything because of mommy’s purse-strings.Overall this is an establishment to be avoided. Its future incarnations should be avoided. Frankly the world might be a little better if the Creatures making this coffee went extinct.
