  FOOD POISONING!4 people in my party got food poisoning after eating the shredded beef enchiladas, they were vomiting for hours, my sister found a hair in her food, and my order was messed up twice. When asked for a refund the manager argued with us and eventually promised w refund which never happened. This place should be shut down until they learn proper food handling.

  Please read before considering eating at this restaurant! Two people in my family got horribly sick, found hair in my food, and the worst customer service handling the situation. On a family vacation visiting our sick grandmother, we all meet at Habaneros for dinner. I found a hair in my food and several orders were messed up and taken back to the kitchen to be redone. Later that night 2 people in my family got food poisoning and spent the entire night sleeping in front of the toilet at the hotel throwing up. (Be advised, they both had eaten the shredded beef enchiladas) When I called the restaurant and made the situation known the manager argued with me about food poisoning and denied that they were at fault after we had taken my little sister who got sick to the DR and he confirmed it. The manager assured me that they would refund the money after giving me a call back…..well he never called back or refunded the money. Never heard an apology

  Went to dinner there with a large group one of them has Celiac and gets very sick even if they have a tiny bit of flour in their food. She asked twice before ordering if her enchilada was corn or flour tortilla. Her sister also asked and I asked again telling the lady we need to make sure because she will get very sick. The waitress assured us it was corn. She received her meal and we were all again questioning the waitress and she said no I’m sure it is white corn tortillas. Again I told her this is important that we know because she will get very sick. After the person had ate one of the enchiladas the waitress came back and apologised that it was a flour tortilla. It took the manager forever to come over to rectify the issue and at that he tried to make excuses and obviously did not understand the importance of a mistake this was. I am very disappointed in the service I used to really like going there but out of our party of 20 we will probably never go back.
