Today my very pregnant wife and I did something that normal people would probably deem crazy… we drove 3 hours for a hamburger. These of course were not just any burgers; these were *trumpets sound* In-N-Out burgers!We pulled in to Oregon’s only In-N-Out at about 4pm Monday afternoon. The dining room was packed out. My wife snatched the first available table while I ordered our legendary gutbombs. A standard Double Double with fries and a chocolate shake for the wife and a 33 animal style (off of the not-so-secret menu) with animal style fries and a chocolate shake for the reverend totaled up to a cool $18 and change.I have been to other In-N-Out’s before and would say that In-N-Out’s popularity is about 80% food and 20% hype. Our burgers were juicy, cheesy, and stacked with crisp veggies. The fries were a bit on the soggy side for our liking, but alas, perfection cannot be obtained this side of heaven.The staff was very friendly. The facility was very clean. The menu is beautifully simplistic. And the drive down from the mid-valley was beautiful. I suggest you give ’em a taste.
