Pros: the food was excellent, the waitress was very kind and attentive Cons: I was very frustrated to find that if two people split a meal (even though there is no extra food) that they add a $4 fee! We have small children. I’m not going to buy a $14 entree for each of them, so they always eat off of the adult’s plate. In other restaurants there is a fee and they add a scoop of rice and that makes sense since you are getting more food. But to pay $4 to share the same amount of food is ridiculous. I asked to speak to the manager and the owner was brought out. After going back and forth for about a minute, he finally said that the extra charge is for overhead like washing the extra dishes. While $4 to wash another plate a spoon seems ridiculous, I can accept that answer and returned to my table. My other main con is that I unfortunately received extremely uncomfortable diarrhea shortly after leaving. Although the food was delicious, and the waitress was kind, I will not be returning and will not recommend this restaurant to anyone else.
The buffet lunch is certainly good value for the amount of food you can eat — but the selection was small, the curries extremely mild and the only meat dishes to choose from were rather dry pieces of tandoor chicken and rather cold meat balls.Most of the dishes were, unfortunately, rather lukewarm — in temperature and in spice. I can’t imagine folks would dine at an Indian restaurant without expecting at least some buzz on their tongues. So, in my opinion, a near zero on the heat scale is just not a good option for this restaurant, nor should the food be served so cold. Exceptions for flavour were their lentil soup and green chutney which were fresh and teased the nose and the palate with some depth of spice and heat. When ordering off their la carte menu you probably may order spiciness to your liking.

Found this restaurant when walking around and the flavors coming out of the door were so enticing that we decided to give it a try. Dinner was a wonderful explosion of flavors and perfectly cooked. Everything was so fresh tasting and the service was outstanding. Definitely one we’ll return to next time we are in Medford.
Menu choices are kinda ala carte.. Small portions here don’t seem to exist. Menu not flexible on sides. It’s either a large meat AND entree sized veggies & sides, or you have to come with someone to split the entre. Odd. Naan & Saar are ala carte.. If u wanted Tandoori & Saar, you have to order two entrees. Crazy. The pepto bismol pink paint on the walls is over the top. Food is good. DVD cases of Indian movies decorate the cashier station..
Really great Indian food and personal service. I’ve been a customer for many years. The mulligatawny is different from any other I’ve had and SO much better! Spectacular food.
Had the lunch buffet. The veggies in cashew cream sauce were devine. Great nan. Good service, friendly staff. Excellent quick lunch for the price.
