Kaleidoscope hardly needs my endorsement, most reviewers got it right: The food, ambiance and service are all outstanding for a pizza joint. Popular, so be prepared to wait. The outside tables under shade umbrellas. For meat lovers I recommend the Peter Griffin.
Fun pizza joint. In town with our daughters softball tourney and group of us went to check it out. Had the tortilla soup. It had a strong kick to it and was excellent. So many pizzas to choose from. We tried a veggie one. Too soggy for us. I would stick to something a little simplier next time. Someone in our party ordered the cheese breadsticks/marinara and one of the salads. Both looked yummy!! Interesting atmosphere I would recommend trying the place.
Quality food to be clear19 Jul, 2014We initially went to Kaleidoscope because their site said they were family friendly (we have two children, 4 and 1). My husband went in first as they can be busy but was seated right away. He told them we have two children, one being a baby but they sat us in an area where a high chair could not be used-not a big deal we moved tables (easy fix). Our new table was significantly larger (double table, which I thought would be nice when the food came, more room to eat) we had our plates halfway on the connecting table and some of the table settings and then one of the servers came over and just pushed all the things back onto our table without saying a word pulled the connecting table away and went on—not a huge deal (I thought kind of rude, saying something would have been nice considering he was pushing everything in front of our 1 yr old. Ex: we need to use this table, do you mind if I move these, etc.-just courtesy) My oldest child needed to use the bathroom so I took her and while gone my youngest got very upset and cried/screamed (she’s typically a very happy kiddo-so this was surprising behavior). My husband had a woman come up to him while trying to console her that he should take her outside so they didn’t all have to suffer and while walking back to our table I heard a young lady say I wish somebody would make that baby shut up-I did stop to apologize to the woman but they took it as me giving attitude (which I can see but they interrupted me before they’d let me finish so I just walked away). My husband did want to take her outside but he wanted to wait for our return as to not make it appear like we just left (we hadn’t seen our server at that point either so he couldn’t inform her or anything). Our pizza was delivered to our table a few minutes later (after I took my upset kiddo outside and came back in), we asked to get it boxed to go-the pizza was alright not the best I’ve every had but not the worse—overall between the customer service, the clientele (at least that night), and the pizza we will not be returning. We’ll be sticking to the Bella Union-at least there we know we’ll get quality and nice, understanding people.

Hummmm!. From what I had heard, I was somewhat disappointed. I thought the pizza was overpriced and the wait a bit long, not impressed! However, good atmosphere!

Good pizza too long of a wait. I really enjoy their table rock pizza but I do not enjoy having to wait 45 minutes for a small pizza every single time I go in there. You can never get you pizza in a reasonable time frame and the people are loud enough having the music loud makes it even harder to hear the person in front of you. I will continue to go there occasionally for the table rock pizza but I make sure to eat something before going since the wait is sooooooo long. They need to open a second location to kind of spread out the business as opposed to making everyone come to once place, at least with two people might get to be served w/in a decent time frame.
