Must say by far the worst service ever on a friday night my girlfriend and i ordered sushi and teryaki chicken and sat there for an hour and come to find out they had not even started our meals yet and it was not busy at all. Tried to talk to the owner about the situation and not only did he walk off as i was trying to talk to him he was less than not interested in trying to fix the situation. My advice, eat somewhere else
Love this place. I have enjoyed Oh’s Osaka since they opened in the mid 90’s. great food and entertainment. The owners are awesome people and always try and make it a great dining experience. I reccomend oh’s to anyone who loves authentic Japanese cuisine. 5 stars from this guy
Don’t walk. … Run away from this place. Beyond horrible service. Sushi is warm… Scary not close to fresh. As for the rice AND chicken teriyaki ? Why bother … My 8 year old can cook better. Oh and did I mention the place is dirty. Seriously…. Floors are nasty. There are so many better places in the valley. Don’t waste your hard earned cash.
I don’t know why this place has so many bad reviews. The food that I have had here is great pretty close to shojis but slightly better (I think it’s a little cheaper too). I’ve only had the sushi here twice but it was very good just as good if not better than other places in the valley. Although I do agree service can be a little crappy, sadly the owner in particular. Drinks are also good but like anywhere els quite pricy. I choose ohs Osaka over shojis any day.
Worst service ever!!. This is absolutely terrible! It took 1 1/2 hours. The service it terrible the staff is not friendly. No one know what is going on including the owner and if I had my way we would walk out after I went off on the entire wait staff!
Never again!. I spent $200 on OH’s gift certificates for my grown children this year for Christmas.. We decided to spend my daughter-in-laws birthday dinner there tonight. We had a 5:30 pm reservation because we had school aged children with us. After a 1/2 hour wait, my husband went up to the bar to order me a drink….no one had come to our table for drink orders. We had 15 people in our party…they could have sold a lot of drinks! We watched as one poor chef (John) was running around trying to do ALL the cooking for 4 tables./ Finally at 6:50 pm (5:30 reservation?) we had someone cooking the food. We had not even been asked about the salad or soup. When the owner finally came out of hiding and starting cooking for the other 1/2 of our group, we asked if they still served the salad The waitress tells him, when asked, that they were out of salad. How are you out of salad 1/2 hour after the establishment opens??? We finally got out of there at 7:45 pm the food was good but not worth waiting almost 1 1/2 hours for. Poor service in an economy that needs all the help it can get doesn’t seem like a good idea to me..
Horrible Sushi. First, the place looks like a HS gymnasium. Second, the service is subpar. Third, small slow-moving flies buzzed around the whole time even in the freezing cold January weather. And the food…couldn’t really say because I was distracted by the mediocre service and nasty flies.Never again!
