Three cheers for Rena!!. The food was unbelievably delicious! We came through (from Mt. Hood) to visit family in Cove. The first great thing was the feeling of comfort and family from our server, Rena. We so loved our stop that, when returning home, we stopped again and Rena was there with open arms. We loved her so much that we traded email addresses. I have never seen and I doubt you will ever find a fabulous woman like Rena. Let her know we wrote and be sure to tell her we love her.Sheila & JanetMt. Hood Oregon

Great food. Heavenly cinnamon rolls and to die for hollandaise sauce – enough said!

My companion and I read the reviews about the staff and food being good, though the decore would be dark and dreary. The good news and bad news is, the food staff were great, unfortunately the interior is in pretty bad shape. The inside is very dark, the kind of place that makes you feel like the kitchen maybe kind of sketchy. The booth we sat in had a long ago taped up repair on one of the seats and the back was so weak and floppy that I felt like we could fall backwards. As soon as we sat down the friendly waitress brought us our waters and a free delicious of piece of coffee cake. Our order came promptly and it was exactly as we requested. The portions are ample which is not surprising given the example geometry of many of the regular customers. 🙂 We both enjoyed our meals and one must specifically highlight the large and delicious cinnamon roll which Roosters is justifiably famous for… Although we didn’t sample any, there were many very delicious looking pies in their display case near the hostess stand at the front. Overall, I’d say don’t let the fairly outdated appearance put you off Roosters if you’re looking for classic old-school American food and pies. The staff will make you feel welcome and the food will be both tasty and fill your belly.

Homemade chicken pot pie. Fresh peach pie. Yummy. Great value. Down home decor with friendly service. I’ll stop in again.

This restaurant is great! The best kept secret of Medford, that’s for sure.
