Lunch at Breakfast time. It’s not that I dislike breakfast food but sometimes I really just don’t feel like eggs, etc. So while the rest of my party enjoyed Spicer’s omelettes, etc., I ordered a Pastrami Reuben sandwich. And I have to say, I was impressed. The bread was not made onsite, but the quality of the ingredients was good. I think they stuck a great balance in terms of a generous amount of meat and just the right amount of sauerkraut. As my side item, I ordered sweet potato fries, which came with fry sauce. Our server was friendly and helpful. Their coffee is also nice and strong. This is a good option for family-style American dining. Next time I’m in Medford, I’ll be back.
It was ok. Hash towns are pedestrian, they at least tried to make them crispy. The eggs in my Benedict were poached hard, I like runny. The hollandaise was ok. Coffee is heavy but it’s what we needed for the road. The oatmeal was good, didn’t say steel cut but tasted like it. Service was good, coffee was always full.
Locally owned and great food. This restaurant has been around for a long time and it has always been good. The service is great the food is wonderful and they have a specialty fired potatoes called slicers that are delish! I love a good breakfast and this is probably the best in the Rogue Valley for price and quality.
Great. I had a bowl of mushroom soup, my mother-in-law had a bowl of vegetable beef soup and my husband had a phily cheese steak sandwich all of which were excellent. We also had the apple dumpling and boysenberry pie which were excellent. Can’t wait to return to Medford to eat here again.
Good fries! Ask for Lisa. She is so sweet!
