Great pizza, I love their beer
Current Employee. As far as Wild River goes I am thoroughly impressed. Not only as a customer but as an employee. I have had many jobs and can speak from the heart by saying this is the best employment choice I’ve ever made. I am one of the many pizza cooks at the Medford location and I think I can speak for many of my co-workers when saying that we are a family. Most of our cooks and waitstaff have been employed here for years. Many come from other Wild River locations. We put our heart and soul into our food and will not send it out if we wont eat it ourselves.Speaking honestly everything is from scratch. Sauces, soups, bread, dough for our pizzas, deserts. Even our beer is micro-brewed in Grants Pass. So stop on by and see for yourself how amazing this place is!

That’s what I’d say if someone asked about going to Wild River. I’d say it’s fine. Not great…nothing I’d miss going to or regret if they went out of business, but fine for a meal. The beer is good in that brewpub way of offering pretty standard versions of the popular styles, but they certainly aren’t taking any chances or pushing the envelope. There certainly are a lot of choices for pizza and the thin crust is ok, but more cracker-like. I’d prefer something with some gluten-y chew to it. It’s more like the kids of pizza kids like. They cut the pizza in appetizer size squares which is fine I guess but also seems more kid friendly than adult. Without asking they served ranch dressing, I assume this is for that aberrant behavior of dipping pizza in ranch dressing. This speaks volumes and kind of shows that they are aiming their pizza at the Little Caesar’s and other cheap pizza crowd. The beer pushed the whole experience slightly into the LIKE category but I don’t really see a need to ever go here again
Good Food!. Great menu selection, pizza is yummy too. Their beers are great. I’ve always had good service and I like the atmosphere.
