Freshest, Cripsiest…Most Tasty in PDX…. …and the nicest, most hard working cook to boot! Not only is this chicken the bomb, they are really nice local people. If you have guilt over fried chicken you’ll lose it immediately when you see you’re buying the best from nice local folk!
Chicken Man. If you walk through the door of Chicken Little youll find yourself in a closet sized space with a counter that might seat two people but seems to be used as a bussing station for the dishes from the adjoining bar next door. You can place your order at that counter (which is what I did) and then wander on over into the bar to find yourself a place to sit. Its your typical blue collar, neighborhood dive bar. I came in on a Sunday and with it being football season it was plenty busy. Anyhow, after 20 minutes or so my plate arrived. Decent sized Breast and four Jo Jo’s. The meat was cooked just right; nice and juicy. Jo’s were good too, though if I made the inevitable comparison with Reel ‘m Inn (another neighborhood dive with fried chicken and jo’s) Id say Reel ‘m Inn is easily the winner; as the breasts there are much larger, as are the jo’s, (which they apply a crunchy batter to). AND, they give you 6 delicious dipping sauces to chose from. The Ranch I got here was pretty thin. Dont get me wrong, my meal here was good. If you live in the area I’d say check it out, you certainly cant go wrong for the money ($4.75?!) I just like Reel ‘m Inn Better. Recommended. drexlermcstyles.tumblr.com

I love this place. A little hole in the wall but very clean. The chicken was perfect!!! Perfectly seasoned and fried everything. The jojos were HUGE, and you get a Big portion. I did not think potatoes grew this big!! Highly recommend.
