This place is a buried treasure. The food is always excellent, feels healthy, fresh, and deeply satisfying. Lovely cocktails, great menu selections, everything really hits the spot superbly. The staff are very welcoming, and the ambience is great. The chef/owner is also super kind and takes note of repeat customers. It feels great to go to this restaurant, highly recommended!
The food was pretty good. I got the special- scalloped potatoes with ham, cheddar, and oven baked eggs. It definitely lacked seasoning, I had to add a healthy amount of chalula and some salt. My husband got the chilaquiles and was satisfied. We also got the blueberry fritters with lemon curd and enjoyed them. The housemade strawberry jam was really fresh and bursting with flavor.
Excellent drink, good food. The food and service are both good. I had the braised tongue sandwich and some shrimp skewers. My drink was the highlight. It was a mostly savory tequila/cumin drink. Definitely try it.
