This eatery has been on my list several years, and finally paid a visit. Nice atmosphere and diverse comfort food menu. Elk burger with caramelized onions was good and the fries were piping hot. Given choice, I would has liked option for side salad with the burger (ala Tabor Tavern), but still happy with meal, as was my wife with her lamb meatloaf. Staff were nice too! My only complaint is that it is too dark throughout restaurant. It is exceedingly tough to read menu by candlelight…

Decided to have a late night meal here since it was so highly rated. Thanks to everyone who posted excellent reviews. You were spot on! Great drinks! The andouille sausage and brocolli Mac and cheese was one of the better Mac and cheese dishes I’ve ever had. And the burger was tremendously fresh and delicious. I will definitely be back.

Oooooweeee I loved this place!! Best meal in Portland, no joke. Cocktails on point. Chicken Pate: crazy good. Beet Salad, insane and Steak… So good it’s wrong!

As always, high quality food, drinks and atmosphere. Stopped in for happy hour and enjoyed numerous great priced appetizers which included the blackened fish tacos and the ginger sake mussels which instantly became my favorite dish. Highly recommend! It was the day of Prince’s death so they had a special ‘Raspberry Beret’ cocktail which was very good. Great atmosphere, the servers were appropriately attentive and the bar tender on point. Looking forward to our next visit!

Fantastic. The environment was very comfortable but very classy. You walk into a small restaurant and they tell you to sit anywhere you like. The waitresses all have smiles and seem very friendly. They are dressed professionally and not in the Portland hipster way. The hardline wooden boots all have shabby chic pillows to lean on. Cool lighting and big fans. The food was delicious. My lamb burger was incredible. The bun was soft and buttery with a perfectly seasoned patty covered in soft goat cheese. I have never had such a good burger. And that is saying a lot coming from me. very reasonably priced at only $13. They have a huge bar with very fun looking drinks. I didn’t try any but the people around me seemed to enjoy them. They were incredibly efficient too.I came for lunch and by the time I had been there for 15 minutes I had my food in front of me and was eating it. This was an excellent experience. I suggest trying if you are from this area.

Eh. Food was good but not quite to what I expected from the reviews. Service was adequate but only just. The menu wasn’t particularly distinctive. And my lemonade was far too strong and seemingly made with a syrup. I wouldn’t avoid coming back but I wouldn’t go out of my way to do so, either.

Perfect atmosphere for date night. The service was quick and friendly and we didn’t have to wait at all to be sat, granted we went for happy hour around 5 on a Tuesday. I had the veggie-burger sliders and my boyfriend had the fish tacos which are both great if you are not that hungry. We both had drinks and small plates for around 20 dollars. Can’t beat that!
