Oh my god. I don’t know what state or planet these people are from, but if you grew up in Oregon in the 60’s this was the only chicken, and little john spuds that any one ate, they have changed the bean recipe, much to our displeasure, but the rest is still the same. at the time KFC was called the speck, it was decent , but all the locals still prefer d the fryer , having grown up with the family that started it I might be a little bias , but still you need to get off your high horse and just realize you don’t like good old fashioned 60’s home style cooking, go eat your sushi, and seaweed , and shut your yapper, don’t ruin it for the rest of the the regular people, geeze.
I was so excited to try the chicken because of its reputation. I was so disappointed, it was horrible. The chicken was burnt and dry-needless to say it went into the garbage. The only good thing was the biscuit and beans.
Slow fast food. This place reminds me of all the fried chicken places around in the early ’60s before Kentucky Fried Chicken put them all out of business. There was a reason for that–and I’m no fan of KFC. Go here if you are in need of a serious grease fix. Also don’t expect to walk in and right out again with some chicken.
If you enjoy the smell of old overused frying oil, you’ll love this place. Stay away from the Jojos.
RUDE!!!!. Rude, takes FOREVER, and the food isn’t that great.
The environment is that of a low brow bar, but the service was OK. The french fries are awesome, as well as the fried chicken and ranch (it has lots of dill in it). All the food does kind of taste the same because they probably use the same fryers for everything and I don’t want to know the last time the oil was changed. If you want the low brow place with decent greasy fried foods then this is heaven, but I need and want a little more than that. This place could be great with some changes.
