Great Multnomah Village breakfast spot. Arrive early or you will wait. The service is attentive and there is a wide variety of breakfast items from waffles smothered in fresh berries, creative scrambles, crab and avocado egg Benedict or breakfast burritos.
Mixed review. For breakfast, it is great. High end but good. Dinner is another subject. Overpriced and not memorable. The shrimp Louie had 3 oz of shrimp, 1 egg, 1/8 avacado, overdressed greens and looked like a luncheon entree at a Sr. citizen home. Not worth $14.00 compared to others around town. French dip was rather small. We left and went elsewhere for dessert as we were still quite hungry. Menu specials seems at the high end for Portland. Would rather spend the money on a note worthy restaurant that provided a memorable experience. Left quite disappointed as we prefer supporting local establishments. Seasons and Regions has set the standard — miuch better value!
Our bad was neither bad nor good..but definitely not one to remember. We were in and out rather quickly. The waitress wasn’t rude, but not exactly friendly. The food looked nice, but was pretty flavorless. My husband had the Hungarian chicken and the sauce was incredibly bland and the chicken was breaded but not crispy. I had bacon avocado eggs Benedict and the bacon was almost non-existent. Needless to say, we probably won’t be back. I’m wondering if maybe all the positive reviews are old, because I don’t know why else they would have a 91% positive review.
The only thing I was disappointed about is that I didn’t know about this place 10 years ago. This is my new favorite breakfast spot in PDX.
One of my favorite places!. This is a simple no frills, good quality food diner! One of the best breakfast menus in Portland. The side salads are awesome, they come with golden beets and the roasted red pepper dressing is tasty! The dinners are good and the desserts are even better 🙂
Great food. Huge menu. Good prices. Friendly service.
Best iced tea around! Awesome espresso with a nice rich crema, delectable desserts, and real homemade but beautiful and well done! Their salads at lunch time are piled 6 inches high with meats and veggies. YUMMO!
