This by far has been one of the best German, restaurants I’ve been too. The schitzels amazing. Also, the strudel are large and always delicious. This place is a great place to go and eat I’ll be coming back
The Best. Married going on 48 years to German lady. Next to her cooking…. Anita & Otto’sis the only German Culinary Establishment I would pay for in the Portland Metro area….PERIOD!
We were a party of four on a casual business dinner, and my partner recommended this restaurant. It is very small, quant, out of the way German theme restaurant. I had the trout and it was quite good. My partner had the Dill Pickle Soup. (Signature Dish) and it was different but tasty. This is a family owned restaurant as our server was their daughter. She did a very nice job and took good care if us.I was surprised how many regulars were dining in the middle of the week… That is a good sign.I would recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a very casual dining German experience.ENJOY MORRY
Dill pickle soup. It sounds freakishly weird, but it’s so delicious it’s almost ridiculous. I love this place so much! Good food, only complaint is the parking.
Granted I’ve never really been to Germany, but this food is amazing, anyone who wants to venture out and have some home cooking should go here
Funky and yummy. You know these people at least have a sense of humor when you go into the restroom and there is a mural of a little German girl going potty behind a bush! My husband and I have eaten here a few times and it’s good German food. Whatever you decide on, please try the Dill Pickle Soup. It’s about the color of mint ice cream but it’s so so delicious and has a really delightful fresh dill taste!
