Ok location is interesting. Small place with seating in back they were heated on a cold night. This is really a food truck that has parked in an old house. That’s just fine. Food is fantastic. We had shrimp and lamb both on brown rice. Shrimp cooked perfectly. Lamb was super tender and already cut into bite sized strips. Sauce in the lamb was a teriyaki with some heat to it. Loved it. It was very quiet in the evening but I’m betting this place can get very busy.

I often never leave my office or always bring food back but today I was so glad I ventured out to the Village Hut because I found what I was searching for. This place is so delicious! When I walked in the door of this great find I was greeted with the most warm welcome from the owner working hard on all the lunch orders. The smell was heavenly and the dishes that were laid out looks so scrumptious. I seriously could not decide what to eat EVERYTHING looked spectacular! I chatted it up with a wonderful local gentleman along with the owner and his family and I really enjoyed my stop in, I need to get out more often. I ended up with the Salmon and the very wonderful owner let me sample some of his amazing chowder too. I love to eat fresh and local and feel good about what I put into my body and the Village Hut makes it easy to eat right on the fly! Feeling good after lunch!
I love it, good local food (shops for it everyday at places like new seasons and barber foods), and made fresh to order! Love it!
Heard the food was great and priced right. Went on Monday for dinner. We ordered six meals including shrimp, salmon, chicken and halibut. The meals were delivered one hour and five minutes later by the cook who was the only person working. The meals were semi-warm as the cook was washing pans instead of delivering food. I suppose one could expect that as she was cashier, cook, waitress and dish washer. The food was good but would have been better if it had been warm.
Interesting…. A little more spendy than I thought it would be but the food was good. The dinning area was a bit awkward as it seemed to be a little make-shift with odd seating areas.
The best restaurant in town! Great food at a low price! I love it!!!
Hidden gem in Multnomah Village. Reasonably priced, good service and 2 good micro brews on tap.
