Cinetopia is a great deal when you can find a coupon. Vinetopia is the restaurant adjacent to the theater. I’ve had the food in Vin and Cin… Probably 3-4 different occasions. Nice atmosphere. All seems to be coming out of same kitchen. I’ve really tried to give both the benefit of the doubt, and tried different items, but have been consistently let down. Food is barely ok… And definately not good for the price. I don’t mind paying premium for ambiance and good food. But being in Portland, there are too many good places to eat. Mcmenamins has its faults too, but you can get a good burger or slice for a decent price… And watch a movie. I find myself and friends wanting to eat here, but instead eating before coming due to the lack of quality in food. Improve the food and they will come to eat, as well as see a movie.

This is a nice place. My wife and I have been in twice since they opened. They still have a few kinks to work our but the service has always been good. The beer selection is diverse but a little pricey. I quickly forgot about the price after I sat down in a leather theater seat with my beer in hand.
Mothra Says…..Movie & a Beer. K & I popped over to the Cinetopia Theatres Monday late afternoon and entered the attached Vinotopia Restaurant & Wine Bar located across the parking lot from Umpqua Bank in the Progress Ridge shopping square. We walked into a very modern and nicely decorated restaurant and bar area. We sat down across from a bank of TV screens while Christina greeted us and offered us both HH food menus and the drink menu. After being served my pilsner draft and K’s Willamette Valley vineyard rose, we waited a short 7 or 8 minutes for our two Happy Hour portioned appetizers to arrive. First the warmed chunk salmon spread with fried capers, blended herbed cream cheese, served with five small crustini’s. This tasted much better than it was presented and I do recommend it. This is a very good dish. In addition, our fish & chips arrived. Now the fish and chips were served piping hot with a load of fries and in addition, three silver dollar sized but very tasty deep fried white fish. This dish was served with Ketchup and a homemade tarter sauce. This is a very nice establishment with a decent HH food menu. Although it was 4:30p on a Monday afternoon with a MNF football game on within an hour, K and I were the only two in this bar/restaurant. Good clean modern establishment, good service, tasty foods, great Pilsner. Note to Management: I will recommend to you to get the NFL package or Red Zone as I am one of many who want to dine and drink while watching my favorites NFL games. I’ll be back to try another HH dish but would like to see my 49ers on the screen. . Mothra says…..3.0 of 5.0
