Suprising find. By quite an accident we found this place. Arriving at nite and not knowing the neighborhood we almost left. What a suprise to find friendly staff and diners. The place was lively so we thought. The guest musicians brought every to their feet. The beer selection, and menue offerings incredible. We gave it a 5 star for a pub/restaurant.
Best Chicken Ciabatta. I know they are known for their great burgers, but you have to try the chicken ciabatta. Best EVER!!
I Dont Drink…. So I never find myself in a pub/bar/tavern setting. I have always assumed that people dont go to those places for food so how good can they be? My principal reason for grabbing lunch at Calapooia Brewery was because of the burger reviews. Riding the tide of my fellow foodies, I ordered a mushroom burger with fries ($10.50) while my brother ordered chicken strips ($6.50). After the food was ordered I sat back to take in my surroundings. Large windows, nice tables, and signage makes this place feel more like a little restaurant around noontime, than a brewery. The sign on the door indicates that minors are welcome from 11:30am to 8:00PM. When the food arrived we dug right in. I am happy to report that they indeed serve fine burgers! Plenty of mushrooms, yummy swiss, great burger, and awesome hot mustard made this a pretty amazing burger. I love their crispy fries as well! My brother gave two thumbs up for his chicken strip plate. The waitress was very helpful, and the place seemed clean! I suggest you give em a taste!
Good Food. This is a great place for bar food. Their fish and chips are some of the best in town.
Small place with very little seating and it was very noisy but the burgers were FANTASTIC! The fries were crispy and hot. I had the Class V burger and my son had the chili burger. We were both very pleased and fulfilled. The beer was great. Try the chili beer! Now I know where to get a good beer and burger in Albany
Great food, low prices and spectacular beer. Wrap it up with darts, live music and awesome people. Add the bow of a cozy pub atmosphere. Great in every way.
Really glad we decided to pop over for dinner. I had the Class V burger and my wife had the Cob burger. Very delicious and prices were perfect. I also decided to get paddled (8 beer sampler). Delicious! Bought a bottle of chili beer for later as well.
