GRRRRRR…. Here is the deal. On a short notice I found out that my three siblings were coming over to my apartment for dinner. No big deal, Ill just grab some pizza, I said to myself. I had recently purchased a fundraising coupon book from a local high school that had four buy one large and get one free coupons for dominos. As soon as I got home from work I rushed back to my apartment, grabbed a coupon, and floored it to dominos. Dominos offers $5, large, one topping pizzas just like nearly every cheap pizza place these days, so I figured Id by one and get one free with my coupon (that has no listed restrictions other than the classic equal or lesser value). Maybe it was the fact that I was tired, sun burnt, and coming down off of a long day, but by the time I left this establishment, I was fuming. I walked in and was greeted by a teenage girl while the manager was talking on the phone (I determined that it was not work related by the time I left). I ordered one large sausage and one large Canadian bacon. When I slid my five dollars and coupon across the counter the girl told me that this would not work. She informed me that the one toppings cost $12.99 regularly. I inquired about their any large one topping for $5 sign that has been hanging in their window for the better part of two years. She then laughed; not a oh this is a misunderstanding laugh mind you, but a Eeek you are soooo stupid. When I tried to argue the point of the sign/ lack of restrictions on the coupon she cut me off mid-sentence. She then slowed her speech (something that really ticked me off) and said, Well, I can give you the two at the promotion price of $10 or You can use your coupon and pay $12.99.I dont get worked up easily, but this girl was taking me to the verge of an anger stroke. I grabbed my coupon and money and walked out the door without a word.Its this kind of treatment that makes me avoid places like the plague. The treatment I received from this teenager will keep me from returning to this location…basically forever. I happily took my money to Pizza Now. I suggest that you dont give em a taste.
