The service was awesome and the food was unbelievable. My mother got the queen’s tea, which has enough dessert with it for two. It is obvious a lot of love goes into the decorations and food. It was a perfect place for afternoon tea. I could not recommend it more highly.
Quaint. Well there’s more here then tea that’s for sure. I had the opportunity to drop by here today durring there limited buisness hours and grab a bite to go. I was greeted almost immediately upon entering by a young lady way in the back of the store/restaurant. I made my way back and confirmed they did take out then took a look at the menu. They have some cakes and pastries here but I decided on a couple of paninis. One ham & swiss and one turkey & provolone. As I waited I took the time to wander about the store area. They have braclets, ear rings, soaps, lotions, etc. among there non tea related items. I counted no less then 93 tea varieties as well as various prepackaged tins and boxes. All this along with brewing equipment and accessories necessary for your home. After taking it in a took a seat on a sofa for a few. While I waited two small groups of 4 with children came in. They too were greeted and seated right away. The staff here (at this point I’ve seen two young ladies working) seems to be on the ball and very friendly. I get the feeling this is family run. shortly there after my food is up. She apologized for not having boxes. Instead they were securely wrapped onto what must have been 5 or 6 paper plates for each. This was fine with me. I paid $7, tipped and was on my way.Not long after that I was enjoying a yummy panini that was still warm. These were not over the top or fancy but they were indeed good and I would try them again. What they lack in flash they make up in charm. It’s clean as well as I could tell. The menu is limited on food but the focus here is tea to be sure. These are my first impressions. At some point I’ll dine in here and relax with some orange spice.
