Los Tequilas good food served by good people.. I recommend that everyone gives Los Tequilas Family Mexican Restaurant a try before sticking to the well know Mexican restaurant like Los Dos Amigos. The restaurant has good food served by good people. Los Tequilas restaurant is a great place to celebrate birthday parties at because there’s plenty of room. I know this because I’ve been a loyal customer for almost ten years now and celebrated a few birthdays there. The employees will sing you happy birthday in Spanish and they put a sombrero on you. Its not just the good food that keeps bringing me back but its the friendly people that work there.FOOD: Once you walk into Los Tequilas your senses pick up the aroma of delicious Mexican food being made. Los Tequilas has all the typical Mexican food burritos, enchiladas, tacos, chimichangas, tequitos, fajitas, chaulpa, pescada, carne asada, and so on. The restaurant also has a particular soup called tortilla soup that has chicken, melted cheese, avocado, salsa, and strips of tortilla with chicken broth in it. The Tortilla Soup is yummy almost as good as the deep fried ice cream. For the drinkers the restaurant has many options for alcoholic beverages such as American beer, Mexican beer, tequilas, wines, mixed drinks, and margaritas. For non alcoholic drinks Los Tequilas have soft drinks, milk, coffee, iced teas, jarrios, and virgin margaritas. STAFF: The staff is very friendly and eager to welcome there customers into there restaurant. There are younger and older employees all with big smiles and speak English well. The employees remember there regular customers and compliment there customers when they notice changes. These are the kind of people you don’t mind leaving a nice tip to.PRICE: The prices are reasonable nothing more than any other Mexican restaurant almost all the specialty dishes are twelve to fourteen dollars. Los Tequilas combinations dinners go up to about twelve dollars and all of the desserts are under four dollars. Children plates and American dishes are under five dollars and soft drinks are under two bucks with a refill. Alcoholic beverages is where it can get pricey.WAIT TIME: Los Tequilas never has a long wait time even when it is busy. The food is cooked to perfection within fifteen to twenty minutes. They don’t forget you once they seat you like many restaurants I’ve ate at in the past. When I’ve called in orders for pick up they always had it done and ready in twenty minutes. If your hungry and want some quick service this is the place to go. LOOKS: When you walk through the heavy front door into the restaurant there is art on the walls, tables , flower pots, and art the customers have done on napkins. My favorite way they chose to decorate was with a plant that had vines climbing the ceiling. It gave the place a nice natural feeling.QUALITY: All in all Los Tequilas Restaurants quality is good. I have no negative comments for as long as I have chose to dine there. The restaurants food has always been up to par and from what I’ve seen everything looks very clean.

Very good, and Very Friendly!. The guacamole is fantastic, and margarita’s do their job. Personally the Natural Margarita is my favorite. Carne Asada is most always a hit, as is the Camerones a mojo de ajo (Shrimp with mushrooms and garlic). The burito’s rock and the tortilla soup is like I had in Mexico! Delish! They also have a secret can of olives in the back for us gringo style mexican food lovers (olives make the world a better place). So you can order them on any dish, though they are not advertised. Picodillo (shredded beef) flavor is better at the Jefferson place, but is the best in Albany.
