They are now in their new location in downtown Albany, the old building has been beautifully restored and decorated. The service and food was super as usual. We tried a dessert we hadn’t had before, Honey Crme Cake, very good. We always enjoy Novak’s.
One of the best. I have been going here for years and can tell you this is one of the best places to eat in Albany. The family that owns the restaurant are nice and it feels very special. I love the chicken paprika and the kasespatzle. I could eat here every day.
Not worth it. Maybe we dont appreciate the culture of their food, but it was terrible. Even the desserts we tried were bad. Won’t be going back
Not good. The buffet looked like it had been there all day, and it was dried out and barely warm. The menu items were at least hot but lacked any real flavor. Nothing we tried was any good at all.
I really liked it. Friendly staff. Excellent food. One of my new favorite places
A regular stop in Albany. We have been stopping at Novak’s when in Albany for over a decade. Today we had a reason to be in town around lunch so the three of us stopped for lunch. They now have a lunch buffet with all of their specials for $11.95, so two of us had that. The other chose the soup, salad and bread for $7.95 lunch special. Our server was friendly and attentive even though two of us were doing the buffet. The buffet food was good and so was the soup, salad and bread. Again we had no room for dessert, but they certainly looked good. We will stop again.
