Since I’m of Czech/German descent I used to get this food all the time at home and at my grandmother’s house. What Novak’s have done is extended something that’s in Albany that I can go and have a very nice meal that reminds me of my grandmother’s cooking. I have tried all of their dishes and all of them have been exquisite. I have found nothing wrong with any of their dishes, the service is fantastic and they bend over backwards to try to appease you. They have a vast selection of cakes and pies that are beyond belief. I highly recommend them if you have not ever tried the restaurant.

Honestly though, everything here is good… from their kielbasa sausages, chicken paprikas, goulash soup, and beef porkolt. Its always a win for me. Their desserts are to die for too, and their Malna raspberry soda is seriously so amazing, that Ill order one to go when Im done. The staff is very polite and sweet as well. Best Hungarian place Ive ever been to.
