Awesome NY style pizza! I had it delivered to my hotel room and was really fast, hot, and delicious! Nicely seasoned and just good pizza. I also ordered the cinnamon dessert and was buttery and yummy. Would order again if I lived in the area.
The pizza here is solid! I don’t think as amazing as other reviews make it out to be, but still easily the best in Albany (and better than anything in Eugene!)
A fan for a reason. I had been referred to try this establishment out by a coworker, having been told about how amazing their calizones taste. I had been there a few times and I always get the calizone to go so I had no real basis for a service review. In order to not let this establishment be at risk of being abused by my positive experience this next part is going to be pretty general. Well, last time I was in, there was an error with the order, and they fixed it in a great way. It is important to me that when there is an error on a restaurants end that they fix it in a great way. I hold this opinion because people will move past the good experiences without a second thought, they will remember the negative ones. I am interested in going back for more.
Bad customer service. 5 people on our lunch hour, called in order ahead of time, told if we were not there when it was done it would be boxed up to go, arrived, when to pay, cashier was rude and obviously upset we were paying individually, rang us up but made us pay in a different transaction for all beverages, was a balance of less that a dollar when she was done, and asked us to pay it but could not figure why it was owed. Asked very rudely if I wanted to talk to manager, well of course I do, you can’t even tell me why we owe more $, and to top it off one persons order was not even put into computer or complete. Ordered grinders, order was wrong, and did not receive chips to go with it. Will not be returning any time soon
Best Pizza in Albany Oregon. Delicious New York style pizza. THIN crust! Great sauce!
A co-worker and I visited for lunch and when I saw Grinder sandwiches on the menu (when done well, my favorite sandwich on earth) I decided to try their Amore Grinder. The sandwich is served on a nice homemade roll and has Canadian Bacon, salami, ham, mozarella & cheddar cheese plus lettuce & tomato with Italian dressing. It was a solid sandwich, although the Italian dressing covered vegies is not something I’m used to encountering. My coworker ordered a nice looking salad and gave me the garlic rolls that came with it – those rolls are delicious in all their oily, garlic goodness. The servers were friendly and we received our food quickly. I’ll be back.
Mmmm-ore!. I will write more about this establishment later. but I want it on record that PizzAmore has excellent pizza, lasagna and garlic balls! The only downside is GERD sufferers might burn a little. And if that doesn’t get you, the garlic breath might.
