I’ve heard people complain about incorrect orders and the noise level. First off, this is a fairly new place and it takes a bit to work out all of the kinks. Secondly, it’s a sports pizza/pub with more TV screens than any other restaurant in this city. It’s going to be loud…duh!I have now been three times. The service has been outstanding, the food has been extremely good, and the restaurant has always been clean. This is a super fun place to go enjoy some food, hang out with friends and watch some games!In addition, the owner has already contributed so much to this community. He’s offered multiple fundraising events for local causes. He’s constantly looking for ways to improve his business and your experience.Southpaw’s is a fantastic addition to Albany!(The only reason I didn’t give it a perfect 5.0 is because nothing is perfect!)
We really enjoyed the Pizza and refreshments at Southpaw. When we got there they were super busy and told us it would take a while. There are lots of TVs. We were cheering for the Broncos, which help pass the time. We had some good beer and wine. They have wood slab tables, very attractive. When the pizza, Bulldog, arrived it was delicious and worth the wait. The service was very good. It was noisy, which they are going to try to work on. We think this is a great addition to North Albany and will be going back to try another pizza!
