Best clam chowder Ive ever had. Ever!!!!. Their are some popular coastal restaurants that could learn a thing or two from the cook who made the clam chowder on Friday! I had a cup with my wahoo fish basket. Aaaamaaazing! So I bought two bowls to go for dinner. I’m not a real bar food person but the burgers are good so when my husband and I have lunch together on Fridays he has picked Wilehms several times. I agree … the service could be much better. Although our waitresses have been friendly, it is very slow and if you want something generally you have to flag them down.
Good food. Terrible waitresses. The main bartender is cool. Rudeness, unpleasantness, poor customer service, and general unfriendliness are the main characteristics of all the waitresse. This bar is now my last resort.
Nailed It!. Wilhelm’s got everything right! The other day we called EARLY at 11:20 AM to place our lunch order for take-out. If you wait much longer they get too busy to answer the phone. It took them about 35 minutes to put together 8 different items and everything was labeled, bagged and ready to go when I got there. The only oversight was the lack of napkins or plastic ware. When I got back to work everyone got exactly what they ordered in the correct box. The (excellent beef & veggie) soup didn’t spill. The BBQ sauce was on the side. Fries, tots & o-rings all in their place! I was most impressed! It has been some time since we have placed this large of a to-go order anywhere in town and Wilhelm’s pulled it off. Add to that off the food was above par! My Mushroom Swiss Burger was amazing. My co-worker was commenting on how he had missed the Cajun Tri-Tip Wrap. I have to recommend sharing a plate of the Garlic Bread soaked with artery clogging goodness. Everything was well received and I heard no complaints. My only lament is their inability to pick up at the noon hour. On a side note for those who care they have Guinness on nitro here. Cheers!
Sorry. I went in on the 4th of July. Almost empty, but service was slowest I have ever witnessed. I will never go back to that place.
TACOS!. I freaking LOVE their .50 cent taco Sunday deal. Those things are soooo good. We used to be regulars before I put on 5 pounds from taco Sunday. Always smiled and welcomed us back.
